Yes I agree with calsifer...it is two different cat....hahaha.
Lighting conditions are different.
And it also depends on the brand of the lens (assume 3rd party lens) eg pro lens vs kit lens.
Yes yes good people, I know it is not a fair comparison because of different conditions - light, camera lens (kit/zoom/50m)cat even ;P Plus the skill of the photographer has, ahem, improved somewhat ... Have changed blog title to avoid causing any distress/unhappiness/protestations :P

Well, u wrote both models wrongly, Nikon should be D40 and Canon is 400D.
