oh twinkle's face totally changed! for the better of course. & yes i see a small tumtum.
We had such a wonderful time watching how happy the cats and kittens are. I think this is true real inner happiness that comes from helping others, even if there were "just cats".
That was a lovely video indeed, Motorsport was practically putty in Carol's lap!
Some people completely miss the point when they ask why do we even bother helping animals, often citing the reason that these animals are not even "grateful" or able to express their "gratitde". These people do not realise that we are not seeking "gratitude". In fact, we are not seeking anything in return. The mere sight of these rescue animals playing happily and peacefully is priceless.

Hmm, okay - I am a bit dense after one week of hard work .. But I don't fully agree with the statement that "for humans, as with chimps, altruism is based on whether their own needs are first met, which is anything but unselfish." Sometimes, the have-nots are more generous and helpful than those who have.
hee... yah, but this is a scientific paper/blog, so they don't go for immeasurables. Chased my tail for a while over that too.
