The KMM gang love bird watching at our bedroom window, but recently the birds have stopped visiting, seasonal migration mayhaps?




So we got this bird from Exim Arts for $2.50, and secured it outside our bedroom window to keep the kitties entertained.


Kootoo: I thought I saw a tweety bird! It ees, it ees a tweety bird!


Kootoo: Oh those damn window panes!


Milo: Won't you come on in, little birdie?

Papa Porky made a toy "house" out of a discarded cardboard box, complete with little cut-out holes here and there.



The kitties had a lot of fun with it, playing hide and seek and ambushing one another.

Muffin has ditched his old favourite cushion for the new cat bed, especially when the air-conditioner is on full blast.




It makes for a furry comfy snooze.

We got this mother of all scratching boards/posts from Loving Pets at East Coast on Sunday.

It looks small in the picture, but it's actually a one metre tall monster.



But it's still kinda short for Kootoo, who can easily reach the top when fully stretched out.

Cat It

We finally got a Cat It water fountain for the trio.


As usual, Inspector Kootoo is checking on new gadgets for suspicious elements (Papa Porky says Kootoo looks as if he is smoking a shisha ^_^).

While Milo enjoys the cool, oxygenated water, and of course he couldn't resist playing with the cascading water!

Kootoo and Muffin were miffed by the lack of lifts (too bad, moggies, this is Hougang, the opposition ward) ...


... while Milo was contented with a second floor premium unit that has a room with a view.


Me thinks these three ex-community cats are a lucky bunch.
