Some scaredy cat got startled when the window slammed suddenly yesterday due to strong wind. He leapt from the sofa, landed on my foot, scrambled away in a flash and pierced my skin with his needle-like claws. He needs a pedicure!!!

I was kicked very hard by my frightened dog Rusty when teaching him to swim in the sea a couple years back.
Didn't realise the wound until my left thigh/leg felt wet and warm... blood was flowing down. I looked like an extra from "Jaws", you know the first bit when the girl's leg comes off?
It seems to be a permanent scar now, three inches long across my thigh.
