Hoppit

From the desk of Mama Piggy:

A potential adopter came to view Kootie this morning, and just 10 minutes after she was gone, our dear Kootie sprained his knee =_= Nobody saw what happened, we only discovered that he was injured when we noticed him limping.

We decided to bring Kootie to the vet. Vet said his left knee was slightly swollen and gave him an anti-inflammatory jab and some joint supplements. The vet said this injury is common in hyperactive cats. Kootie does jump around the house like a crazed bunny.

The adopter wants to bring Kootie home on Monday, but we'll have to monitor his condition first before deciding if Kootie needs more time to recuperate at foster home.

Best to let him recover before he gets brought to the new home. A stressed up body may may delay his recovering process. But he looks like a tough cookie so he'll do well. :) His paw pads look really cute.

Thanks pensivetabby! Hope you find your very own cat soon!

kxbc, thank goodness Kootie recovered fast enuf! We actually had to put him under house, er, "cage arrest" to make him rest his leg.
