It's no secret that I had wanted to name Milo "Aslan" after the lion in the storybook "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe".
Don't you think Milo (it could have been "Aslan"!!!) looks majestic and lion-like?
But Papa Porky chaffed at the suggested name, and opted for a kopitiam hot drink brand. So not befitting, I'd say!

You could have a secret name- Aslan. That will be your true stature lah. But for everyday life, Milo is kind of neat.
That's a cute suggestion, San :D For now, Papa Porky is calling Milo "Tak Kiew", kopitiam lingo for Milo!

Just like parents from long long ago always named their children Ah Niu or Ah Kou, so that they would be safe from God's jealousy and harm!
Milo didn't look much like an Aslan when he was a kitten leh. But now he looks damn distinguished!!!!!

The Aslan are an extraterrestrial "Major Race" (eg., a race of intelligent beings) from the Traveller roleplaying game universe. They are four-limbed, upright, bipedal carnivore-pouncer lifeforms. They originally evolved as solitary creatures in trees and have a vague resemblance to the lion. I don't know why they name the lion "Aslan" in the movie. Guess CS Lewis see him as Jesus Christ who died for mankind ....just like what the lion did in the movie.
