For the safety of the kitties and for our sanity, we have changed the window grilles to a cat-proof one: the width between the grilles is two and a half inches, no way these fatsos are going to squeeze through!
So now we can enjoy more breeze and safer bird-watching :)
Fatsos? Fatsos!?! We'd take exception to that, if we were being called fatso!
The window grill idea is a great one! We get to go out into our tiny back "yard," but our human has all kinds of messy stuff on the top of the fence to keep us (read Nicki) in. He's managed to escape every year he's been here, three years in a row, so now our human is paying someone to take it all down and put something else up she hopes will keep Nicki in, safely, for good. She says she lost her "sanity" ages ago, trying to outwit him. MOL.
Anyway, we hope you all enjoy the window whiffies now, in safety!
Same width as the ones i have reinstalled over the old ones. The "investment" is worth the peace of mind. No need to look downstairs if any cat is "missing" when one comes home.
We hope that the home improvement is to your kitty liking. We know you love to explore the outside. Thanks for sharing the update. Have a wonderful rest of your week. World of Animals

Yes indeed, the peace of mind is priceless!
How much it going to cost for fixing this type if window grill ?
Anon, we changed the window grilles plus window panes - for about S$3,200. If you are just changing the grilles I am sure it'll be much cheaper.
Can i have the contacts pls? Would like to install as well.
