Ask you a very practical question: Can wet wash the thing in a washing machine? I am sure there will be loads of cat hair and cat drool in it after a month if it is in our household.
I am also in the process of getting a cat bed (hopefully one with a cover and snug fit) for the gang as well. CC has made himself a catbed using a $10 foldable cushion and he drools on it a lot.
haha, cat aunty, that's a nice way of "justifying" for the cushion, $33 per head! It does feel warm, but with the air-conditioning on, the kitties rushed to snuggle in!
thanks to all for the niceties, i enjoyed producing them.
kxbc, i have to go back to check the label on cleaning care. Just vacuum the thing lah when it gets too "furry". Er, my kitties don't drool, so i dun have a problem with schmell. hee.
CC's makeshift catbed is orange and he drools a lot as he is pa geh. So there are now patches of yucky drool marks which can't be removed through washing. But your new black bed will hide the drool marks, if any, perfectly.
I have this thing about the beds being washable. Not that I wash them frequently, but at least I can do so if I want or need to. Eg if someone vomits on it or when it gets a little too dirty for them.
Most of the beds sold in Pet Lovers cannot be washed in a washing machine so I am still continuing my search.

Yes I had seen the Bastis bed at IKEA, but $99!! But you have 3 cats, so it is $33 per cat, so it works out ok...I wonder if it will be too warm?
I think KMM will like it very very much.
