We decided to bath the kitties today, as they are beginning to smell.
Made the deadly mistake of bathing Muffin last. He was scared stiff after hearing the yowling (thanks to Kootoo Monster) from the bathroom.
Muffin: Move one inch closer and I will claw your eyes OUT!
He scrambled on top of the fridge and refused to budge despite my efforts to lure him down with yummilicious treats.
With Muffin, you cannot use force as he would go into hysterics.
As of 7pm, our friend has been up on the fridge for 5 hours :(
Muffin: Stay AWAY from me, you EVIL woman!

Poor Muffin.
Do they really smell? Our brood never seem to. It' always our comfort zone (or rather their granny's nagging) and Teddy (when he starts hurling and producing mother-of-hairball) that dictates the bath schedule.
Our rule-of-thumb's monthly baths.
The weather plays a part too - they dry au-naturel cos the hair-dryers spooks them no end.
Eh, I'm just trying to excuse the slackers' late-by-two-month baths. Not that they complain. :P

Muffin. Has. Gone. Bersek. He came down for a short while but after seeing the other two cats he launches into the nastiest hissing and spitting we have ever seen. I know the two smell different from him so I thought the best way to do it is to bath Muffin so that he smells the same as the other 2. But now I can't even go near him. Now what?!? We'll isolate him from the other 2 and see how things develop. GOSH! Feels like those early introduction days!
Hope Muffin has calmed down already. Maybe Kootoo was screaming blue murder and por little Muffin Boy thinks it was true.
He has sich a pouty expression it is so cuuuute!! I think white cats can do pouts very well.
Oh, bad tempered boy. Anger displacement....
If it's me, I wouldn't let him stay on top of the fridge for 5 hours. I will get a chair and bring him down, regardless if he spits, hiss or scratch. Pin him down and he won't move anymore. But sure get scratches hahaha....
Btw, your fridge top sure looks clean.
kxbc, next time i need to get Muffin off the fridge top I will hire you, ok? In return you get to hug Kootoo Monster for one minute.
How about 10 min? Must compensate for scratches and bite marks what...Must make it worth my while mah.
But you is the diligent house cleaner. Fridge top also so clean.
